Calgary's inner-city market has stayed active through the first half of the year, with well-priced homes in communities like Killarney/Glengarry, Altadore, and South Calgary continuing to see strong buyer interest.
Inventory has been tight in the most walkable communities, which means homes that are priced realistically and show well aren't sitting long. Buyers who are pre-approved and ready to move quickly have the advantage.
Pricing still matters more than almost anything else. Homes that come out of the gate priced to the current market tend to sell faster and closer to asking than homes that start high and chase the market down.
Whether you're buying or selling in Calgary's inner city right now, the fundamentals haven't changed: know your comparables, price honestly, and be ready to move when the right property or offer shows up.
